Would you like to get baptized?
Water baptism is a big deal! It’s one of only two New Testament ordinances. Also, it’s for those who have committed their lives to Jesus, so if you were baptized as a baby or a child, be encouraged to watch the short video.
If you’d like to get baptized, go to the “Contact Us” page and let us know.
“Starting Point” is NVC’s membership class and new believer class. It’s also a great refresher course for those farther along in the faith.
This class will acquaint you with the church’s history, philosophy of ministry, mission/vision/values, and more. You’ll also be taught, or refreshed, on the fundamentals of Christianity.
Only four Sundays, after our second main service. Lasts about an hour and 15 minutes. Lunch is provided.
Below are the links to our curriculum.

To become a member of NVC, someone should be…
- A Christian – Only someone who professes faith in Christ and desires to be an obedient learner and follower of Him should be a member of a Christian church.
- A regular attendee – A church cannot affirm and oversee a person’s profession of faith if they do not regularly attend. Without attendance, membership is meaningless.
- Someone who desires to obey the Bible – A church member exercises childlike faith in the Bible being the Word of God and the only source whereby one lives a lifestyle pleasing to God. A church member embraces Absolute/Universal Truth and adopts a Biblical Worldview regarding all matters of life.
- Someone who agrees with the church’s mission, vision, and values – A church member is congruent with the overall DNA of the church and is eager to assimilate into the church’s culture.
- Someone willing to submit to the leadership of the church – If someone isn’t willing to follow the church’s leaders, then one will inevitably stir up division and strife. One should join a church whose leaders one can obey.
If you just signed up for this class, then you could open the above curriculum links, print the curriculum, hole-punch the papers, and insert them into a 3-ring binder… or you could open the PDF on your phone when class starts. Either way works just fine. See you in class after church this Sunday!
Do you have a hard time reading the Bible? (Most people do.)
Take our 90-Day Challenge!
Bible Reading Plan Details
What if you spent the next 90 days walking alongside Jesus, listening to Peter preach, visiting churches with Paul, following Moses throughout the desert, and just falling more in love with God with each turning page?
You are hereby challenged to read through a section of the Bible in 90 days! Our prayer is that by the end of this challenge, you’ll feel so spiritually full you’ll never want to live on empty again.
Why should I do this? I could just read on my own!
It’s safe to assume that, in all honesty, we don’t read the Bible as much as we should. By signing up for this challenge, you will be encouraged and held accountable for gettin’ er done!
The feeling of accomplishment is awesome because this is hard. For most, the amount of reading is not what makes it difficult; it’s the spiritual warfare involved.
Okay, you sold me. How does the challenge work?
Step 1: Select one of the challenges below. Print the PDF, hole punch the papers, and put them in a 3-ring binder.
- The PDF serves as an outline template. It shows you which book and chapters you are to read each day.

What is Christian Counseling?
Christian Counseling combines faith with the principles of psychology to improve one’s mental health and relationships. More specifically, this approach uses the Bible to help one deal with life’s challenges. The ultimate goal of Christian counseling is to help identify behaviors that are inconsistent with the Bible’s teachings, so one can experience a life of greater joy, peace, hope, and rest amid life’s challenges and best navigate through such challenges.
What is Christian Life Coaching?
Christian Life Coaching is a synergistic relationship between a certified life coach and a client designed to tap into your full God-given potential in life. Just as Olympic athletes wouldn’t think of training without the added keen insight, objective perspective, and enthusiastic support of an athletic coach, many of today’s successful people in every area of life use the services of a life coach to take their lives to a higher level for God’s glory.
What’s the difference between counseling/coaching and therapy?
There is a fundamental difference between Christian Counseling/Coaching and Therapy. Counseling is defined as “giving guidance” whereas therapy is a type of treatment procedure where emotional and behavioral problems are diagnosed and sought to be treated, sometimes alongside prescribed medications. It is not the role of a Christian Counselor/Coach to diagnose or treat any medical or psychological condition, and that is not what Pastor Paul’s Christian Counseling and Coaching Center does. Pastor Paul has not promised, implied, nor obligated himself to act as a therapist providing any treatment in the realm of therapy.
Do I have to be a Christian to use your services?
No, you do not need to be a Christian, yet you would need to be open to Biblical principles and truths since Pastor Paul’s service is Christian-based. That said, his approach is non-judgmental and caring.
Do I have to be a member of your church to use your services?
You do not need to be a member or attender of NVC. This service is available to the community.
I don’t live in the area. Do you do online or phone appointments?
No. Only in-person service is available at this time.
How do I set an appointment?
Go to the “Contact Us” page on this website and fill out your name, email, and a brief description of your situation. You’ll then receive an email reply with time/day options, that is, if your situation is in the realm of Pastor Paul’s treatment.
What if I have a life-threatening emergency?
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
Will my visits be covered by insurance?
These services do not deal directly with insurance companies. Clients are responsible for offerings that are payable either the time service is rendered or on the first of the month for ongoing services.
How much do you charge?
There is no charge for these services. Rather, an agreed-upon offering is received. (The services are valued at $120 hr.)
When a prospective client decides to schedule an introductory session, there are two options: 1) providing an offering for the intro session with no future commitment, or 2) providing an offering for the intro session and also the remaining sessions of the month since the client has agreed to commit to the proposed treatment plan/coaching strategy.
If you need help, the first step is to go to the “Contact Us” page and fill out the contact form. Let’s start a conversation.

Schedule in a private deliverance session.
What is deliverance ministry?
To begin with, I’ll ask a question. Do you believe in angels and demons? If yes, read on.
In a general sense, deliverance ministry entails addressing and cancelling out demonic influence both outside and inside a person. When dealing with demons from the outside, we call this oppression. On the inside, for one who is not a Christian in the Biblical sense, we call this demonization or possession. For one who is a Biblical Christian, on the inside, we call this inhabitation.
By casting out or away demonic influence from a person, said person typically experiences freedom from whatever may be troubling or afflicting him or her.
Biblically speaking, the term “deliverance ministry” is not a formal “ministry,” per se, but rather one of the foundational characteristics of being a disciple of Jesus. After all, Jesus includes this characteristic in the Gospel of Mark’s version of the Great Commission.
What is involved in a deliverance ministry session for your church?
The session begins with qualifying the client by going through the prerequisites to a successful session.
Our approach is thorough. Our sessions involve a time of confession (whether the client is at fault or not) which involves the client’s entire pertinent history, an opportunity to forgive all who have wronged the client, an exploration of family history in order to uncover generational curses, an exploration of all types of relationships in order to uncover soul ties, not to mention any other ties, agreements, curses, and anything else that may cause demons to have a legal right to remain.
Also, the spiritual gifts of discernment and knowledge are exercised to determine whether the source of the affliction is actually due to demonic influence or not. The team also exercises childlike faith and utter dependence on the Holy Spirit’s direction.
Our sessions have a training and discipleship element. Our clients are expected to take on the responsibility of maintaining their newly acquired state of freedom and are given instructions to do so. Also, accountability and fellowship is offered post-deliverance session.
The result of this thorough approach has resulted in a high success rate not only in deliverance but also in healing from various maladies, since 80% of diseases have spiritual roots. (Source: Be in Health Ministries, Dr. Henry W. Wright)
Do I need to be a Christian to receive this ministry from your church?
Our team will only minister to those who profess Jesus to be their Lord and Savior, and who are determined to live lives in accordance to what the Bible teaches. The reason why is because, according to the Bible, such a person’s very life has been bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore said person is owned by Christ. The demonic realm has no right, in this respect, to oppress or inhabit said person.
Although there are other deliverance ministries that will minister to non-Christians, according to the Bible, it is probable that a non-Christian who receives deliverance ministry could be worse off than prior to the session, due to the Holy Spirit not inhabiting the client.
How long do your deliverance sessions usually take? Is there any preparation involved? What would your team would expect from me?
The sessions average around 2.5 hours, sometimes less, sometimes more.
After a schedule availability from the deliverance team is confirmed, preparation instructions are sent to the client which involve recalling the client’s past and an encouragement to fast and pray. There are also intake forms to fill out prior to the session.
The client is expected to participate through confession, prayer, and even learning how to exercise the authority the client has in Christ to cast out demons.
How can I be confident that my sensitive information will be protected?
This ministry has the same protocols in place that a formal counseling or therapy practice has. For every session, all team members and the client signs confidentiality agreements. Also, a file is created for the client which involves various documents, e.g. receipt of our HIPAA form, waiver of liability, and others.
What should I expect during a deliverance session?
We have had sessions that were very mild to quite dramatic. It all depends on the client.
Do I have to be a member of your church to schedule in a session?
You do not need to be a member or attender of NVC. This service is available to the community.
I don’t live in the area. Does your team conduct online or phone sessions?
No. Only in-person sessions are available at this time.
How do I set an appointment?
Go to the “Contact Us” page on this website and fill out your name, email, a brief description of your situation, and a brief testimony regarding your relationship with Jesus. You’ll then receive an email reply with time/day options. Once an appointment has been scheduled, further instructions will be sent.
What if I have a life-threatening emergency?
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
Does your team conduct public mass sessions?
We do not, due to these sessions being less effective and also due to the sensitive nature of this spiritual activity.
How much do you charge?
There is no charge for this service.
If you need help, the first step is to go to the “Contact Us” page and fill out the contact form. Include a brief description of your situation and a brief testimony regarding your relationship with Jesus.
